Recruitment 信息

Membership in a fraternity or sorority is through a mutual selection process, known as recruitment or intake. Participating in recruitment or intake provides an excellent opportunity to meet people and learn more about the fraternity and sorority community but in no way requires you to join a chapter.

If you are an incoming freshman, you will have an opportunity to meet with our 联谊会 & Sorority Ambassadors during your Orientation. They can answer any questions you have and give you all the information you need to get involved.

Here are some upcoming events where all of our fraternities and sororities will be present; we encourage you to attend as many as you can so you can meet Greek 学生 and learn more about their recruitment or intake process: 待定

College Panhellenic Association

Register for Panhellenic Primary Recruitment here

Panhellenic Primary Recruitment is a week long event that uses a formalized process to select new members each August/September. At Florida Atlantic University, the 6 Panhellenic sororities participate in Primary Recruitment that is hosted by the College Panhellenic Association 在我们的校园.

Primary Recruitment gives you the opportunity to meet and really get to know each of the six sororities, learn more about sorority life in campus, and make that final decision on which sorority is right for you. By signing up for Primary Recruitment you are not obligated to join a sorority, but will be provided a chance to know much more about all the sororities on campus.

During Primary Recruitment, you will be guided and assisted by sorority women, known as Recruitment Counselors, who have disassociated from their sorority to assist with Primary Recruitment. The Recruitment Counselors, along with the Panhellenic Executive Board, organize recruitment and are there to guide you throughout the week to help and assist you in making the week as successful as possible.

每一天之后, you will be asked to narrow down your choices and the sororities will be narrowing down their choices as well. Panhellenic Recruitment provides for a mutual selection process that benefits both the women and the sororities at the same time. We have an exciting process at Florida Atlantic University and look forward to seeing you throughout the week and working with you.

In the spring semester, some 注册会计师 sororities may recruit new members if they have open spots in their chapter. You may contact each individual sorority to find out if they are recruiting in the spring by emailing their President or Recruitment Chairman (contact info found on their chapter page).
