The Student Ambassadors to the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters will be a select group of students who have exemplified academic success and leadership within the college and at FAU. Student Ambassadors are highly motivated and committed students who embrace what it means to be a part of the Arts and Letters community. This is a prestigious group for students interested in gaining valuable leadership experience and growing their network through connecting with esteemed alumni, faculty, and community members.
Responsibilities
- Represent the college and the Dean’s office by serving as a liaison to future, current, and past Owls
- Assist with duties and tasks at college performances and special events
- Give tours to prospective students
- Take part in outreach initiatives
- Participate in social media initiatives (reels, photos, stories, TikTok, etc.)
- Attend meetings and/or training
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Completed two semesters at FAU
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Full-time or part-time student status
- Be an Arts and Letters major student
